The OMEGA Speedmaster Moonwatch is renowned for its role in space exploration, having accompanied astronauts on all six lunar landing missions. This model draws on the design of the fourth-generation Speedmaster while combining historic details with contemporary materials and movement technology.

Measuring 42 mm, the watch features an 18K Moonshine™ Gold case and a matching stepped dial with a subtle sun-brushed finish. Black subdials and applied markers provide contrast, while the black ceramic bezel is equipped with an OMEGA Ceragold™ tachymeter scale and the distinctive “dot over 90” detail.

The black integrated rubber strap continues the lunar theme with a textured underside inspired by the appearance of the Moon’s surface. On the reverse, the polished Moonshine™ Gold caseback features sculpted double bevels and the historic inscription “FIRST WATCH WORN ON THE MOON” picked out in black.

Power comes from OMEGA’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861, finished to a luxurious standard and engineered to deliver the precision, reliability and performance expected from the modern Moonwatch.

This particular watch was owned by the 2005 and 2017 Daytona 24hrs winner Max Angelelli and has come from his private collection. It remains in unworn condition with stickers present. A letter of provenance can be given upon sale.
