1966 Omega Speedmaster Pre-Professional 105.003 'Soleil'
An incredrare opportunity to buy the super rare 'Blue Soleil' pre-professional speedmaster Ed White.
There is various explanations to how these dials came to be fitted to these watches. Some say it's a service dial, others say its a prototype dial, the fact is we will actually never know. All that remains is that these are super rare watches to find. It's rarer than the Ultraman and the Black Racing.

Case: Stainless steel straight lug
Bezel: Stainless steel with aluminium DON insert which shows some wear consistent wit h age.
Bracelet: It comes fitted to a Forstner JB Komfit Mesh beacelet
Dial: Blue-grey soleil brushed finish with short markers. These dials are prone to showing marks. Each of these dials vary in condition, most have some degrading of some sort. It is also well documented.
Hands: Original hands, the chrono has faded yellow slightly.
Crystal: Omega hesalite
Case Diameter: 39.7mm
Movement: Omega cal 321 with the serial 22,825,xxx
Case Back: Correct double bevel case back marked ST 105.003-65

Omega Extract of Archives - dating the watch to Feb 1966 delivered to the UK. All the extracts for EVERY blue/grey will and should always state black dial. This is how they were recorded at Omega at production.
Condition: Overall the watch is functioning perfect having being serviced in 2018 at Simon Freese Watchmaking. The dial shows some deterioration which is common for the blue/grey dial. Not a lot is reaslly known about these dials other than they come up once in a blue moon. the case is in good condition and the Hippocampus is visible.
