1959 Omega Speedmaster Pre-Professional CK2915-3
The third iteration of the CK2915 made in 1959 only. Rare to find in such excellent conditon.
These either came with a steel Base 1000 bezel or aluminium Base 1000 as seen on this particular watch. Overall the case is nice and sharp, it has of course, like 99% of the straight lug speedmasters out there, seen a polish at somepoint in it's life. The hands were relumed recently with radium and done to an excellent standard.
Supplied to Canada in 1959 as stated on the Omega Extract of the Arcxhives which is included with the watch.

Case: Straight lug case 19mm lugs
Crown and Pushers: Correct 24 tooth flat foot crown. Correct small pusher measuring 4mm diameter x 2.5mm length.
Bezel: Rare and correct Tachymetre Base 1000 'long 4'
Bracelet: Omega 7077 flat link bracelet stamped 1/61 with genuine No 6 end links
Dial: Correct 'Oval O' with low OMEGA text and applied logo.. The dial has turned a beautiful choclate brown. The lume plots have been relumed with radium to a high standard. Swiss Made visible at the bottom.
Hands: Correct Broad Arrrow hands. These have been relumed due to excessive lume loss. They have been done with radium, and matched with the hour markers. Chrono hand is unpainted. Sub dial hands painted - these can be seen painted and unpianted, no one knows whats fully correct.
Crystal: Correct hesalite crystal with flat foot logo
Case Diameter: 39mm
Movement: The famous 321 1st generation with serial 16,xxx,xxx
Case Back: Correct double bevel case back with 2915-3 and clear hippocampus

Ck2915 Advert from the 60s
Condition: Considering this watch is 60 years old it's condition is excellent. It is functioning perfectly and stops/starts with no issues. I will warranty the movement for 6 months from the date of invoice. The bezel shows very minimal wear as does the plexi. I have left the minor marks on the plexi for the new ownwr to decide iof they want to polish it or not. The dial is absolutely beautiful, showing a stunning choclate patina.
